New ticket in Cupertino Chair election, Hopes for professional campaign and election

 

    A new ticket has been announced in the upcoming Cupertino Alliance Chair election. This new ticket has Sertor Valentinus running for Chair and Thorin Neal running for Lieutenant Chair. Valentinus is the current Deputy Minister of International Cooperation and Thorin Neal is the current Deputy Minister of Membership Attainment.

Delegates of the Cupertino Alliance are hopeful for a professional campaign and election this cycle. This election will be the first under the new Charter of the alliance and has already seen reform being passed for campaigning venues. Already, a bill was passed limiting the number of campaigning staff of each campaign to be permitted in campaigning venues. This bill, written by Carson Snyder, entitled the Campaign Channel Access Act limited access to campaigning venues to the Chair and Lieutenant Chair of a campaign and two other individuals. A follow up bill is anticipated to formalize who gives access to the channel and to lay out punishments for those who misuse the channel.

Representatives from Pibocip and Northwood-Oregon meet, Sign Mutual Recognition Treaty

HRH Crown Prince Phillip Philip of Pibocip signs  the Treaty of Mutual Recognition   The Kingdom of Northwood-Oregon met with the Kingdom of Pibocip today, July 26th 2021, to discuss relations and other topics of interest. The meeting was between Crown Prince Phillip Phillin, Prince Phillip Joseph Pillin, and King Carson Snyder, and took place in the Cedar Creeks Preserve near the Kingsland.  The representatives present discussed multiple topics of interest, including personal views on micronationalism, their respective nations, and the current state of micronational alliances. The two states agreed to continue relations and maintain contact, and crowned the meeting with the signing of a Treaty of Mutual Recognition. The treaty was signed by Crown Prince Phillip Phillin, King Carson Snyder, and the absent Duke Nicholas Abbott, who had printed and signed the document but was unable to officially attend the meeting. Duke Theo III Approved by Royal Deluge as Secretary Treasurer

Duke Theo III has been approved as Secretary Treasurer today, March 9, 2021, in a vote of 5 to 0 with 2 abstentions resulting in a weighted vote of 15 to 0, after being nominated by Sovereign Carson Snyder. The Secretary Treasurer position was created by the "Treasury of Northwood-Oregon and Economic Planning" bill passed at the end of last month on February 28, 2021. The Secretary Treasurer will act to ensure the responsibilities of the Treasury of Northwood-Oregon are fulfilled, such responsibilities including  printing currently and managing government funds. The bill also reaffirmed a silver backed currency for the Kingdom, as well as set provisions for the beginning of economic development.
